National Safety Apparel acquires King Louie sewing plant

CLEVELAND, Ohio – January 1, 2022 – National Safety Apparel (NSA) has acquired King Louie, a United States-based apparel manufacturer based in Kansas. Since 1937, the name “King Louie” has been a symbol of first-class quality, value and service. King Louie America proudly carries on this tradition with made in the USA shirts, outerwear and women’s clothing. In 2018, National Safety Apparel acquired Rubin Brothers, another union-made apparel manufacturer in the United States. The proven success of increasing capacity and adding experienced team members to the NSA family through the acquisition of Rubin Brothers laid the foundation for the acquisition of King Louie.
