About Volunteering for APWQ

Volunteers are at the heart of APWQ. The Association's Board of Directors is composed of hard-working volunteers who, along with numerous committee members and chairs, enthusiastically contribute countless hours to help keep the organization going and to produce events. Planning for future shows and other APWQ activities goes on year-round. Members can lend a hand in many ways: as a part of the Board, assisting at the Symposium or working in the APWQ booth at Sew Expo. It takes hundreds of volunteers to produce an event the size of the Pacific West Quilt Show, and support jobs are available that range from hostessing for a day to being a committee chair with advance-planning tasks. There are many opportunities for you to be involved in APWQ and any amount of time that you can give is greatly appreciated. Whether it is once a week, once a month or once a year, your contribution makes a difference!
