SewBatik is a direct merchant with a passion for designing, sourcing and distributing exquisite batik and hand dyed fabrics. Our fabrics are only sold on the SewBatik website, at local, regional and national quilt shows, and through our ever-growing relationships with professional longarm/machine quilters around the world. Diane and Bruce Magidson co-founded SewBatik in 2004.

SewBatik corporate operations - including product design, business operations, order fulfillment, and customer service are all coordinated from our offices in Mayville, North Dakota. Our batiks are all produced in Indonesia!
