The purpose of Quilters Anonymous is to share the love and knowledge of all aspects of quilting and related activities. Quilters Anonymous is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of quilting and promoting excellence and education in this needlecraft.  Membership is open to anyone interested in quilts or quilting. Our goal is to share our passion and craft, to display and demonstrate techniques of quilting and inspire and expand your ideas for your own works.  We meet each month to share quilting knowledge, listen and learn from both local and national speakers and from each other.

Meetings Held Monthly:
The day meeting is held on the second Wednesday of the month from 10a.m. to 1p.m.
The evening meeting is held on the Tuesday preceding the day meeting from 7p.m. to 9p.m.

Evergreen Piecemakers is a quilt guild that was formed to promote and preserve the art and craft of quilt making. Generally every other year in the spring, the Guild puts on a quilt show. Community Service (The Joyful Quilters) makes lap quilts, baby quilts, and fund-raising quilts, which are donated to various charities and organizations. There are satellite groups that meet to quilt and have fun during the week.

 Needle Arts Guild of Puget Sound

A 501(c)(3) entity, NAGOPS was organized for educational purposes, to advance the fine art of creative needlework while enjoying fellowship and the exchange of ideas.  It is their goal to promote high standards in needlework and design.

Meetings are held quarterly (Sept. Jan, April, June). Satellite meetings meet monthly - various times and locations.

Each general and satellite meeting features a focus program or speaker and show and tell. Members share a large variety of interests and emphasize community service.

The Needle Arts Guild of Puget Sound (NAGOPS)is celebrating its 40th anniversary on Friday, June 7, featuring elinor peace bailey as speaker.  Celebrate with us -- salad luncheon plus silent auction, door prizes, as well as books and magazines for sale.  Time and location are 10 AM, First Christian Church, 6th & Orchard, Tacoma.  Charge is $12, prepaid. 


On Saturday, June 8th, elinor is leading a doll-making workshop at the same location -- limited space is still available.  Workshop fee $50.

West Sound Quilters

West Sound Quilters is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to share and stimulate the knowledge and love of quilting among its members and the community.

They have been gathering quilters in the area around Port Orchard, WA. since 1985 and have grown to over 200 wonderful members. They are a very active guild with frequent quilt shows, over a dozen "mini" groups, a wide variety of classes and workshops, two retreats each year, and a number of philanthropic projects.

Monthly meetings generally feature a guest speaker or hands-on project,
show-and-tell, and a block of the month and/or fat quarter exchange.
In addition they have an extensive loaning library free for members.
